From the 6th to the 12th of November 2022 the Faculty of law Zagreb in cooperation with the Inter-University Center in Dubrovnik will host the international course “Criminal law and human rights”, including the Adriatic moot court competition.
The conference is open to all interested participants (undergraduate students, postgraduate students, doctoral students, scientific candidates, lawyers, members of state institutions, courts, non-governmental organizations, journalists and others). The working language is English; therefore, a good command of the English language is required.
The course is conducted in such a way that, in addition to the mandatory lectures, it also contains a simulated trial and informal discussions and socializing during free time, as an effort to involve the participants as much as possible in the topic of the conference itself, but also to encourage them to socialize with colleagues and work together. The number of participants is limited to 40.
All participants are required to pay a registration fee of €65 upon joining the conference. Accommodation and travel expenses are borne by the participants themselves, but the organizational team will help all participants to find suitable accommodation and travel arrangements.
The certificate of participation in the moot court earns students 4 ECTS points.
