Dear esteemed colleagues,
You are kindly invited to participate in the 3rd international scientific conference „Challenges to Modern Law: An International Perspective„ organized by Kazimieras Simonavičius University (Lithuania). The conference will take place on April 24–25, 2023 in a hybrid mode.
Presentations and research papers are invited on topics relevant to the theme, including (but not limited to):
- Conceptual challenges for international law in current geopolitical context
- International human rights protection mechanisms: strengths and weaknesses
- Impact of technologies on the development of international law
- Role of international law in times of climate change
- Legal issues of international business environment
- International organisations as creators of international law
- Transformations and developments of teaching, studies, and research of international law in recent years
The keynote speakers of the conference:
- Ralf Rogowski, Emeritus Academic at School of Law of Warwick University (UK);
- Liliana Tymchenko, Head of the Council of the Centre for Constitutionalism and Human Rights & Head of the Committee on Law, Political and Economic Studies of the European Humanities University (Lithuania)
High quality papers presented at the conference will be selected for publication in the conference partner journals:
- Studia Iuridica Lublinensia (indexed with Scopus, Index Copernicus International (ICI Journals Master List), ERIH PLUS and other international databases)
- Pravni Vjesnik (indexed with WoS Emerging Sources Citation Index, HeinOnline, ERIH PLUS and other international databases)
Early bird abstractsubmission in scheduled on January 1, 2023, standard submission – on March 1, 2023.

Registration fee varies from 25 to 150 euros depending on the mode of participation, status of participant, and time of registration.
